G (appropriate for all)
This such a delightful read! The poems are whimsical, and though they follow the somewhat trite rhyme schemes and meter patterns typical in children's poetry, the imagery and use of language is often fresh and inviting. The illustrations are absolutely adorable, often adding additional humor to the poem itself.
This book is a lovely addition to any nature study or for those who are ecologically minded or just love the great outdoors! I would recommend it for PreK-3rd grade.
